POSITION SUMMARY / JOB GOALS:
This Athletics Operations Lead will assist the Director of Athletics in managing all logistics of athletic events, with the emphasis on customer experience, logistics, coordinating support efforts (assistants), facility cleaning and maintenance, support management, and event setup and breakdown. Most importantly, Game Operations, assisting with crowd control, game officials, and visiting teams. Communicate with home game day support units including coaching staff, athletic administration, concessions, maintenance, parking, and campus security. This role will be an integral part with daily athletic coordination, including supporting SID roles, communications and transportation.
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations in managing and providing support in all areas of athletic facilities/operations as well as game day management as directed by head coach and AD.
- Responsible for all Game Day set up for all teams and all sports on the campus.
- Responsible for Physical Education class daily set up.
- Responsible for all practice set up for all teams and all sports on the campus.
- Knowledge of middle and high sports upkeep and maintenance of assigned inventory, supplies, materials and equipment.
- This job could be physically demanding at times and will require constant flexibility.
- Schedules and supervises possible operations intern, asst op and any potential student workers

- This position demands accuracy, honesty, integrity and the ability to work with the Athletic staff of The Village School.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays, as assigned. Ability to work on your own with little supervision.
- Attend all weekly “event meetings” scheduled through Events Coordinator.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Bachelor's degree from college or university and experience in event management preferred, but not required.
- 1-3 years’ experience in game or event management preferred.
