The Service Techincian Role:
Aspen Group Ltd. is seeking experienced, driven, and detail-oriented Service Technicians to join our ever-growing team! The ideal Service Technician candidate would have extensive knowledge of roofing, carpentry, painting, and concrete (required). Stucco is a plus! The customer experience is as important as quality work, and we are looking for craftsmen that believe in delivering both. As a Service Technician, you will collaborate closely with the Service Manager on your assigned projects. Beyond this, your role encompasses a range of duties, including but not limited to:
- Provide detailed photo documentation of all repairs and work performed.
- Delivering detailed progress updates and completion reports to supervisor and coordinator.
- Calculate and acquire the necessary materials for project requirements.
- Perform Quality Assurance and Quality Control checks for each job to ensure that Aspen Group standards are consistently being met.
- Ensure work is performed safely per OSHA regulations.
Job requirements include:
- Have Roof System Repair Knowledge (Tile, Metal, Shingle, EPDM, TPO, PVC, Mod Bit, Gravel BUR). We will train the right candidate.
- Have a working understanding of industry standards and manufacturer standards for completing warranty-compliant flashings/patches/repairs.
- Have industry knowledge of roofing repair products and application methods/standards.
- Strong carpentry background a plus
- Problem solving skills required
- Proficiency in navigating tablet and phone-based technology
- Team player who can work independently
