Ideal candidate must be able to troubleshoot & perform all resident maintenance requests in an efficient and timely manner. Problem solving and repair work may include HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry as well as turning vacant apartments, upkeep of grounds to include stairwells and breezeways, assisting Maintenance Supervisor with scheduling vendors, supply runs, ordering of parts and all other support tasks as assigned by management. Candidate should also be able to clearly communicate to both team members and residents as well as have a friendly and courtesy disposition as resident satisfaction is one of our TOP priorities.
Candidate should have: High school diploma or GED, 2+ years of related maintenance experience and/or training, CPO & HVAC certification a plus (or the willingness to obtain quickly), strong knowledge & skill in the safe use and handling of power tools. Must be able to lift/move up to 100 lbs. for installation and removal of appliances. Able to kneel, crouch, climb, and crawl comfortably to assist with repairs. Must have reliable transportation, tools (ask about our tool program!) and be comfortable with on-call responsibilities.
Schedule varies based on community/call schedule. Some night, weekend and holiday work may be required. Pay is based on experience. Drug free work place.
