Fridays and Saturdays
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide oral health instructions
- Conduct comprehensive dental exams and assessments
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as necessary
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or other dental practice management systems
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment
Qualifications:
- Valid dental hygiene license in [state]
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Proficiency in using dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic
- Knowledge of medical coding systems for billing purposes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to work well in a team environment
