Maintenance Helper
The Maintenance Helper will assist general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating, cooling, ground maintenance and other building systems under the direction of Maintenance Supervisor/Department Head or Maintenance Worker. Will be working from campus to campus as needed.
Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Receives maintenance direction from Supervisor.
· Inspects and identifies equipment or grounds in need of repair.
· Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.
· Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors, ground maintenance and other building fixtures.
· Performs routine maintenance on building systems.
· Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.
· Ability to work flexible schedule.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Ability to follow instructions from supervisor.
· Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.
· Willingness to learn new skills.
· Organizational and time management and communication skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
