Position Summary:We are looking for an experienced General Manager [GM] to lead daily operations of Baxter’s RCade! The GM will work closely with their team to direct daily operations, ensuring compliance with company standards and the achievement of targets/goals. The right person for this role will inspire and train their team to provide exceptional guest experiences and will hold them accountable to the highest standards. Must be willing to work nights and/or weekends. We are looking for a totally RAD personality, someone who is creative and driven and always selects “CONTINUE” when “GAME OVER” flashes on the screen. Must be a hard worker. Bonus points if you can recite the Konami Code!
Highlighted Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations; plan shifts, maintain appropriate staffing levels and proactively address/solve issues to ensure excellent guest experience
- Act as a brand ambassador for Baxter’s RCade; ensure values are upheld to both external and internal audiences
- Control profit & loss by following cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial reports and taking appropriate actions
- Must drive the booking of private party business, such as birthday parties, corporate outings, sports teams, etc.
- Manage the creation of weekly schedules; direct involvement with scheduling and POS system management
- Oversee the re-creation of drinks/cocktail menus that are new, inspiring, and on brand
- Oversee Facility Management, including game and equipment maintenance
- Direct and/or manage the inventory/ordering process to ensure appropriate levels of product
- Foster positive relationships with guests; handle complaints, requests and inquiries, as needed and follow up to ensure satisfaction
Requirements
- Management experience in high-volume bar/restaurant needed
- Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional guest service
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Must be creative! The GM must think inside and outside of the box to drive business. No laying up!
- Up to date with food and beverages trends and best practices
- Guest-oriented and service-minded
- Previous sales and/or relationship management a plus
- Experience and/or passion for golf and gaming a huge plus
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Reports to: Ownership and Executive Management
Manages Front of House and Back of House employees; Bartenders, Servers, Barbacks, Cooks, Bussers
Job Type: Full-time. Available to work a flexible schedule that includes nights and weekends
Compensation: Competitive Salary, Bonus opportunities, PTO and benefits available. Salary up to $70k.
