As an Audit Senior you will be responsible for the following job duties which are focused around your technical expertise and ability to work in a collaborative team to deliver excellent results:
- Engage with existing and new clients providing GAAP Financial Statements via audit, review, compilation, and preparation engagements.
- Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing various assurance and consulting services to industry specific clients, positively impacting their financial statements, profitability, and business operations.
- Implementing appropriate testing to assess deficiencies of internal controls and make recommendations for improvement.
- Performing all fieldwork for Audit, Review, Compilation, and Financial Statement Preparations to ensure quality service and timely delivery of results.
- Delivering accounting insight through thoughtful review, analysis, and discussion
- Assist with managing engagement staffing, fieldwork/review, and ensure efficient delivery to clients.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required, Masters or advanced degree desired.
- Required to be a CPA or CPA qualified.
- Three (3)+ years’ experience providing financial statement auditing services in a professional services firm desired
- One (1)+ year of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates desired
- Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills
- Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning in order to stay current regarding applicable strategies, see the "big picture" as well as the details, display appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment, and exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and the timely completion of projects.
- Highly developed software and Microsoft Office skills
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred
