Job Summary: Seeking a Senior Project Management Engineer (PME) to oversee and drive our engineering projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and leadership skills, extensive project management experience, multi-discipline comprehension, and a thorough understanding of project drivers. The PME will lead multi-discipline project teams, ensuring the successful execution of projects within scope, schedule, and budget while upholding the company’s client service and quality standards. The PME will be responsible for the execution and performance of those projects to which the PME is assigned. The PME will provide regular insight into team performance and project status.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple concurrent engineering projects, serving as the single Point of Contact and interface between the client, subcontractors, and a multi-discipline design team.
- Cultivate internal and external professional relationships; build rapport with the project team, clients, and stakeholders, cultivating and exemplifying a client-centric culture of collaboration, mentorship, and grit.
- Establish priorities and deadlines on project deliverables and drive the project team accordingly.
- Track project status, milestones, and KPIs for all projects within purview; provide feedback and status updates to supervisor.
- Consistently assess project progress and performance, proactively identifying and addressing risks and obstacles.
- Utilize project management tools to monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Review and facilitate technical reviews of proposals, associated SOWs, and project data rooms; provide feedback on scope, schedule, and budget in support of proposal development.
- Coordinate with discipline leadership and the PME team to select project teams for projects.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the PME team.
- Proactively own project coordination between the company, stakeholders, and sub-consultants.
- Uphold company standard processes and workflows.
- Mentor and train peers on established professional skills.
- Possesses a “run to the fire” attitude.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related engineering degree.
- Minimum 5 years in construction management or engineering project management.
- Professional Engineering licensure preferred.
- PMP certification or lean six sigma required (substantial relevant experience may be considered as a temporary alternative, provided PMP certification is achieved within 6 months of employment).
- Track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects.
- Strong leadership and management skills; excellent communication and soft skills.
- Possess experience-based knowledge of solar/BESS design requirements, construction sequencing, and Procurement.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
