Job Summary
Salary Range: $54,000 - $58,000 Year
Essential Functions
NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employee may perform other related duties as needed to meet the ongoing needs of the organization that will be reviewed and agreed upon with mutual acceptance before implementation.
- Fabricate controls according to specifications, including layout and physical mounting of components to the back panel and wiring of all components. Determine dimension and layout of back panels and enclosures.
- Run metal enclosures through a preprogrammed fabrication machine
- Run din rail and wiring duct through preprogrammed cutting machine
- Oversee dimension and layout of back panels and enclosures
- Mounting of components to back panels and enclosures
- Routing and bundling of wire and cables neatly to meet wiring standards
- Point to point wiring of relays, controls, PLCs, I/O Modules, VFDs, Interfaces, & Instrumentation
- Troubleshoot panels as needed to eliminate wiring errors and component malfunctions
- Collaboration with engineering to ensure that work is done correctly and in a timely fashion
- Communicate red line changes to Controls Manager for revision before completion
- Communicates effectively with all team members, leads, builders, engineers, and the Project Manager
- The ability to meet deadlines under pressure
- A high standard of quality and attention to detail.
- Other duties as needed.

Required and Education Experience
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Ability to understand and work from schematics.
- Knowledge of electrical theory and terminology required
Preferred and Education Experience
- Technical school attendance.
- Experience with Autodesk or EPLAN.
- Considerable knowledge and experience in the design of industrial control panels.
