Work as part of a treatment team at Timber Ridge School (grades 6-12) with students having varied backgrounds and diverse needs. Timber Ridge is a year-round licensed residential treatment facility and accredited school located in the Shenandoah Valley. Our employees transform the lives of emotionally and behaviorally challenged adolescent boys with a goal of reuniting them successfully with their families and community.
Responsibilities include: Triage injured or ill students, liaise with other medical professionals, administer medication, administer urine drug screens for students and staff, training/teaching, assessments, assist staff psychiatrist.
This position is full-time Monday-Friday mainly between the hours of 3pm-11pm with occasional weekends. On-call rotation required.
Minimum qualifications require license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) authorized to work in Virginia. Psychiatric experience preferred but not required, ability to work with adolescent youth, strong medical skills, good computer skills and able to work as a team or independently.
