Accounts Payable Manager
We are a top tier AmLaw100 law firm that is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for overseeing all accounts payable activities, including verifying, recording and approving all invoices, expense reports, and other payments. The Accounts Payable Manager must have excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and team members and prioritize accordingly. Hybrid role; 2 days in office.
Key Responsibilities:

Verify, record, and approve invoices and expense reports for payment

Reconcile vendor statements

Maintain records of accounts payable, including journal entries, accruals, and month-end closing

Monitor accounts payable to ensure timely payments

Maintain and reconcile foreign exchange transactions

Manage vendor accounts, including issuing and processing payments

Develop and maintain internal controls

Resolve discrepancies in cash memos, purchase orders and other payment documents

Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
-
Prepare financial reports and other related documents

Assist with the preparation of budgets and cash flow projections

Manage performance evaluations and salary increases
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field

A minimum of 5 years of experience in AP and accounting

Extensive knowledge of full-cycle accounting processes

Experience with foreign exchange and international transactions

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices and procedures

Proficiency in accounting software such as Elite, 3E, and Aderant, highly desirable

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
