Customer Care Receptionist at AllCare Health with the Customer Care department in Grants Pass, Oregon

Summary
This position is responsible for being the first point of contact for AllCare Health, managing front office reception and administration tasks by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties
1. Welcomes guests positively as soon as they arrive at the office.
2. Answers, screens and forwards phone calls to specific departments and staff.
3. Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
4. Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges).
5. Ensures reception area is tidy and presentable.
Education & Experience
-
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Computer Skills
Has basic computer job skills including logging on to systems, ability to communicate by email, and download forms.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Interpersonal Skills

Physical Demands & Work Environment

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
