Job Description
We are seeking a versatile Operations & Maintenance Assistant to join our team at our sites in Oklahoma City and Atoka. This entry-level role involves diverse tasks related to electrical, mechanical, plumbing, welding, and other facilities maintenance work. You will support daily operations by monitoring and maintaining facilities, equipment, and systems to ensure smooth functionality. Additionally, you will assist in coordinating with contractors and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor company programs, equipment, and systems daily, such as temperature controls, electrical systems, plumbing, and fiber optics.
- Perform electrical, mechanical, welding and plumbing repairs and maintenance as needed, reporting issues promptly to management.
- Assist in construction, repairs, and modifications to equipment and structures, following safety guidelines and protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
- Collaborate with contractors and vendors as needed, coordinating activities and ensuring tasks are completed on time.
- Assist in preparing work areas for projects, including setting up equipment and materials as required.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure working environment for all team members.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and stay updated on industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Physical fitness and ability to perform physical labor in various environmental conditions.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or coursework in electrical, mechanical, or plumbing fields is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, welding, plumbing systems, repair techniques, and tools.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts and schedules as needed, including occasional overtime.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work sites.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
