Serenity Therapeutic Services is looking for an experience Administrative Services Coordinator who will play a critical role in keeping ensuring a positive, welcoming and productive environment. The Administrative Services Coordinator will interact interact with all levels of staff and various customers and clients. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills and a personable temperament.
Purpose of Position:
The Administrative Services Manager will schedule and conduct interviews with Social Security to ensure a Client’s smooth transition to Serenity Therapeutic Services. They will maintain a broad range of services allowing Serenity to operate smoothly and efficiently. They will plan, organize, and monitor Client’s records ensuring accuracy.
Administrative Services Coordinator Job Responsibilities:

Participate in agency committees, required team meetings, events and audits as required.

Validate potential clients by coordinating/facilitating the intake process for the verification of insurance (SSI and SSA Benefits).

Apply for benefits for new clients, and process termination of discharged clients.

File SSI and DDS records.

Complete, submit, update, and track individual social security and supplemental benefits applications, re-enrollment forms, and monthly payments received.

Visit Social Security Offices regarding SSI funds for Clients.

Distribute Consumer’s monthly funds, including Supported Employment, and extraordinary funds.

Collect rental income from Consumers.

Complete Rep Payee applications for new admissions.

Correspond with Consumer’s Medicaid County regarding Special Assistance.

Correspond with the Social Security Office regarding the Consumer’s SSI.

Disburse Client monthly Funds.

Manage and pay pharmacy invoices from the Client’s funds.

Distribute Foster Parent monthly payments.
-
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Qualifications
Minimum Experience/Education
The ideal candidate shall possess strong communication and organizational skills along with the ability to multitask. The Administrate Services Coordinator shall possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact positively with employees, consumers, and vendors. Demonstrate excellent customer service, attention to detail, read, write, and communicate clearly and concisely. Minimum of two years’ experience. Associate degree is preferred

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is continuously required to sit and talk or hear 50% of the time. There will also be interaction with individuals served.
