The Rotating Equipment Technician will conduct commissioning and corrective maintenance activities for rotating equipment such as turbines, compressors, engines, and pumps. This role will ensure the availability and integrity of the installed systems and equipment in terms of safety and reliability.
Responsibilities:
· Complete assigned work to Rotating Equipment according to project requirements and deadlines
· Monitor and evaluate the performance and quality of the work been done on the Rotating Equipment
· Ensure that all Rotating Equipment Installation, Commissioning, and Repair activities are carried out in compliance with OEM standards, safety regulations, and company policies
· Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Rotating Equipment operation and functionality
· Inventory of spare parts, tools, and materials for Rotating Equipment Commissioning Activities
· Train and mentor new or junior Rotating Equipment Technicians on best practices, procedures, and techniques
· Communicate and coordinate with other departments, vendors, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth and efficient operation of Rotating Equipment
Experience & Skills:
· A high school diploma or equivalent, with some post-secondary education or training in mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
· Strong rotating equipment troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, using tools such as vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, and laser alignment
· Knowledge of maintenance strategy and analysis techniques, such as reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), root cause failure analysis (RCFA), and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA).
· Experience in machinery rotor balancing, using equipment such as balancing machines, soft foot correction tools, and dial indicators
· Familiarity with industry standards, safety procedures, and best practices for rotating equipment operation and maintenance
· Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills
· Great organizational and time management abilities
· Willingness to perform mechanical maintenance and repairs outside of business hours

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
