Overview:
Lyon Property Group is a leading property management company specializing in the management of residential properties. The Property Manager will play a pivotal role in the strategic planning, financial management, and overall success of the managed properties.

Key Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of approximately 1000 residential units.
- Tenant and Owner Relations: Foster positive relationships with tenants and property owners, addressing inquiries, concerns, and ensuring high tenant satisfaction.
- Leasing and Marketing: Manage leasing activities, including advertising vacancies, conducting property tours, and overseeing the application process.
- Financial Management: Develop and manage property budgets, ensure rent collection, and handle financial reporting.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Coordinate and oversee maintenance and repair activities, ensuring properties are well-maintained and in compliance with safety regulations.
- Vendor and Contractor Management: Collaborate with vendors and contractors for various property needs, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality services.
- Lease Administration: Prepare and execute lease agreements, handle lease renewals, and manage move-ins and move-outs.
- Property Inspections: Conduct regular property inspections to assess and address maintenance needs and ensure adherence to property standards.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks related to property management, including compliance with local regulations.
- Staff Supervision: Manage and lead a team of property management professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Qualifications:
- Ideally 3+ years of experience in property management.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Appfolio, Monday.com, LeadSimple).
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to property management.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and financial reports.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Real estate license preferred in either CT or RI. Will eventually be required but not mandatory at the start.
