Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests and verify their age prior to serving alcohol.
- Take guest food and drink orders, suggesting menu items and answering questions.
- Serve guests responsibly, in adherence to company, local, state, and federal regulations.
- Anticipate guest’s needs and maintain bar-pre-bus.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following company recipes.
- Clean and maintain the bar area, equipment, and utensils.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Embrace O’Reach, Green Team, Guest Service, Team Member Satisfaction, Health & Wellness, and Safety culture.
- Perform other duties as required or requested.
Skills & Abilities:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel.)
- Strong leadership, management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well with a variety of personality types and maintain tact and diplomacy throughout all interactions.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Prior bartending experience preferred.
- Certification to serve alcohol as directed by state and local laws required.
Physical Requirements:
- Light Work: Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Requires walking or standing to a significant degree.
- Physical Activity: Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, picking/pinching with fingers, typing, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, repetitive motion.
- Environmental Conditions: Inside work environment.
