Description:
Summary of Position: Mix and serve alcoholic, non-alcoholic beverages on guest request. Take food orders in a friendly, and timely manner. Verify all guest identification for proof of age.
In the event your combined wages ($11.05 hourly rate and your earned tips) don’t add up to $16.50 Home Run Inn will still guarantee you are paid $16.50 per hour.

Sell food and beverages to bar guests in a friendly, timely and responsible manner.

Work from verbal and written instructions

Mix, prepare and serve drink orders, using standard recipe's.

Practice responsible alcohol service: monitor alcohol consumption and age requirements.

Operate cash POS system. Accept payment provide change.

Presents menu, actively sells and suggests menu items, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and service.

Relay orders to kitchen and serve courses from kitchen and service bars.

Assists in the service of food and beverage to tables, pre-bussing functions and the set-up / takedown of buffet table.

Request stock and check bar to monitor stock levels.

Maintain cleanliness of bar, station, and guest areas throughout the shift and at the end of the night.

Monitor equipment and beverage systems.

Promotes upcoming and special events to guests.

Prepare bar top for next shift.

Use POS System, calculator and common cleaning supplies.

Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age to pour alcohol

Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).

Frequently be able to safely lift bags, cases, and stack weight up to 50 pounds with assistance.

Have working knowledge of the predominant language(s) of our guests.

Basset certification

Food Handler certification

Safety shoes

Must be able to work evening shifts (3pm-11pm) and Friday-Sundays.
