Job Title: Technical Support Specialist
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to tackle unfamiliar problems with confidence and efficiency. This role involves supporting both hardware and software, including imaging and deploying new laptops, as well as upgrading Windows to newer versions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for hardware and software issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal disruption to end-users.
- Image and deploy new laptops to employees, ensuring all necessary software and configurations are correctly installed.
- Upgrade Windows operating systems to newer versions, ensuring compatibility and smooth transitions.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, utilizing strong troubleshooting skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Assist with network and connectivity issues as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions using ticketing systems.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to improve processes and enhance overall system performance.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology to provide the best possible support.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, including imaging and deployment.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve complex problems.
- Familiarity with hardware components and peripheral devices.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server) are a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire
Pay: $25.54 - $29.23 per hour
