American Training, a non-profit Human Services Agency, is seeking a Direct Support Professional for our Acquired Brain Injury Program (ABI). As an American Training ABI Direct Support Professional, you will positively impact the lives of adults in our acquired brain injury program. The ABI Direct Support Professional contributes to both our on-site and community-based programs.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm. Currently hiring for Wakefield, MA!
What does an ABI Direct Support Professional do?

Assistance with activities of daily living

Healthy living routine guidance
-
Activity planning and scheduling
-
Daily data and/or corresponding notes
-
Implement community and social programming as directed

Provide safe transportation to/from preferred activities (via agency vehicle)

At least one year experience working with similar population

Ability to demonstrate a sense of empathy, patience, and compassion

Satisfactory CORI and DDS fingerprinting

Valid State driver’s license (Required)
