As a Crew Leader, you'll be responsible for orchestrating and supervising one of Pro Tree's pruning and removal teams. This entails ensuring the production team has a robust work plan, maintaining clear communication with customers, and delivering top-tier customer service. You'll adhere to Pro-Tree's meticulous processes to guarantee a polished end result. Your duties will include climbing, rigging, and proficiently operating heavy machinery to carry out tree care tasks with precision and efficiency all while prioritizing the safety of your team.

Responsibilities:
- Leading a team of production arborists: Creating robust work plans to ensure safety and efficiency on job sites
- Adhere to Procedures: Follow Pro Tree's established processes to maintain consistency in our service delivery and ensure thorough accountability.
- Customer Service: Clearly communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service
- Safety: Ensure all work is being performed to industry safety standards, as well as ANSI Z133
- Quality: Ensure all work is being performed to the highest standard and quality.
- Climbing/Rigging And Equipment Operations: Use specialized climbing and rigging techniques, as well as aerial lifts and cranes, to access trees safely and perform pruning or remove trees as needed
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and repair various tree care equipment to ensure safe and proper use
Compensation/Benefits:
- Pay ranging between $30-$38 per hour, depending on experience
- Weather permitting, four production days per week with a flexible Friday

Required Qualifications:
- Must have or be able to obtain within 6 months of employment ISA arborist certification, EHAP certification. If you don't have these but are capable of obtaining them we will help you get there. They are a requirement for all of our arborist crew leaders.
- A minimum of three years of climbing experience, including pruning, removal, and working with cranes and rigging
- A minimum of two years of equipment operating experience
- An understanding of how to perform advanced pruning, removal, and general tree care maintenance in accordance with industry standards
- Experience with tree care safety standards, such as Z133
Preferred Qualifications:
- CDL preferred; we cover all associated expenses
- Urban forestry or other related degree
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
