Overview:
This dishwasher position reports to the Dining Hall Supervisor and is part of the team responsible for the daily meal service provided to our residents, including place setting, bussing, and dishwashing. *We currently do not offer full table service. Food is served buffet style. In the future, we may resume table service, so this could affect some future responsibilities for this position.*
The primary functions are (as part of a team):
- Washing dishes for the daily meal service
- Washing dishes for occasional catered events at Raven Landing (these may include tips)
- Remove dirty utensils and replenish, as needed; clean tables after guests leave
- Help clean kitchen at the end of the night
- Follow health and safety regulations in all kitchen and dining areas

Meals: a hot meal is provided each shift
Schedule: Mon - Thurs: 1 or 2 pm – 8 pm :: Fri 10 am - 3 pm Occasional weekends/evenings when catering events
Location: Raven Landing Senior Community, 1222 Cowles St, Fairbanks. You must be able to ensure your transportation and timeliness.

Wage: $15/hour, increasing to $16/hr after 30-90 days

Skills:
- Dish washing experience in restaurant settings
- Work experience as a Busser, Food Runner or other entry-level role in a restaurant is a plus
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, evenings and holidays
- Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours
- Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to interact well with residents while still accomplishing tasks
