Manufacturing Team Member openings are across our first and second shift operations in Shipping, Assembly, Finish, Forge, Weld Support Departments. Starting pay of $17.00(and up) hourly.
Those with applicable experience are eligible to start at a higher rate with earning potential based upon your skill level, performance, and your ability to work well within a fast paced, team focused environment.
GENERAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - MANUFACTURING TEAM MEMBER
- Read and follow work instructions, procedures, policies, and complete various forms and reports.
- Maintain good attendance, flexibility in job assignments, adaptability to changing business needs, and continually learn and apply new skills.
- Follow safety rules, procedures, guidelines and training given; maintain cleanliness of workstation/house-keeping; maintain good personal hygiene; recognize and report hazards to designated individual(s); participate in safety program(s); report accidents/injuries immediately; practice safe work habits.
- Communicate well and get along with team members, actively listen, ask questions to understand, provide encouragement, and work safely and collaboratively to support a cooperative and positive team environment.
- Seek and learn from feedback and be open to suggestions and change. Conversely, provide less proficient team members feedback to assist in their learning.
SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - MANUFACTURING TEAM MEMBER
Safety
- Know and follow safety rules at all times.
- Utilize appropriate safety devices and protective equipment.
- Identify and communicate individual and/or environmental safety hazards and confront others when violations of safety standards occur.
- Identify potential individual and/or environmental safety hazards and initiate ways to address.
- Maintain cleanliness of work environment.
- Practice safe operation of equipment.
- Follow ergonomic principles at all times when performing work including safe lifting, correct posture, proper use of tools and equipment, etc.
Quality Control
- Assess all components for quality control purposes on an ongoing basis throughout the work shift.
- Make quality decisions according to established standards.
- Effectively communicate questions and/or problems to appropriate personnel.
- Follow appropriate processes, standards, specifications and norms to meet quality expectations in all aspects of work. Inventory Control
- Accurately document all necessary information related to inventory control.
- Effectively communicate questions, discrepancies and/or problems to appropriate personnel.
- Assess and maintain all components for inventory control purposes on an ongoing basis throughout the work shift.
- Assist in cycle counts.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS - MANUFACTURING TEAM MEMBER
- High school diploma or GED required
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- General computer skills required
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to succeed in a team environment
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Careful attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and adjust to multiple and/or changing priorities
- Successful completion of drug and background screening and post offer pre-employmnet physical.
