In this role, you must excel at creating and closing new opportunities through developing lasting relationships within the construction industry, focusing on Fire & Life Safety Systems. Utilizing a consultative approach to selling, you will become the trusted advisor to your customer.
YOUR OBJECTIVES:
- Strategic Sales Planning: Highly skilled in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing strategic relationships, and effectively navigating competitive bidding processes
- Relationship Management: Excels in building and nurturing long-term relationships with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders, earning their trust through his reliability, transparency, and commitment to their success.
- Strategic Selling: Skilled at conducting thorough market research, identifying upcoming projects in your territory, and identifying all key stakeholders.

- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively at all organizational levels and with key decision-makers.

Required Skills/Abilities:
- B2B Construction Sales experience, required.
- Demonstrated track record of sales success in a competitive bidding environment.
- Comfortable working independently
- Strong intellectual curiosity with a desire to continuously learn and improve.
- Self-motivated to set and achieve goals.
- Highly competitive.
- Balance customer relationships with selling profitable projects
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite & CRM Tools
Education and Experience:
- Required, 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience. Construction Sales experience, preferred.
- Preferred, 4-year Bachelor Degree or 2 year associate with 7 years successful B2B
This is a Hybrid work opportunity. Hybrid defined as, working within proximity of your territory with the ability to set your own schedule. No established "in-office" days. Must be actively engaged with clients both through Phone, Virtual and in-person meetings, as required.
