The Early Intervention Service Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and overseeing early intervention services for children from birth to three years old who have developmental delays or disabilities.
Responsibilities include:
Coordinate and monitor the delivery of early intervention services.
Assist families in accessing and navigating services and supports, including health care, educational, and community resources.
Provide information, support, and resources to families to empower them to make informed decisions.
Maintain regular communication with families to support their needs and progress.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies regarding early intervention services.
Work collaboratively with service providers, healthcare professionals, and community organizations.
Advocate for the needs and rights of children and families within the early intervention system.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, special education, social work, psychology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Experience: Prior experience in case management, early intervention, special education, or related fields or service coordination is beneficial.
Skills:
Strong understanding of child development and early intervention principles.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse families and professionals.
Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in early intervention.

Salary:
Salary is fee for service based on billable units.
