Job Description:
The HVAC/R Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair up to 40 RaceTrac convenience stores in a designated region. This individual is responsible for maintaining Building HVAC, Refrigeration Walk-Ins and reach ins and sealed system repairs on Yogurt Machines, Ice Makers, and Frozen Carbonated Beverage Units. The HVAC/R Technician is also responsible for reporting any maintenance or repair needs found at the location via Service Channel and to their Regional Service Manager.
Responsibilities:

Installing, maintaining, and repairing light commercial roof top units ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration systems and equipment.

Perform repairs and installation on HVAC/R equipment and commercial kitchen equipment

Demonstrate strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, walk in refrigeration/freezer units.

Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.

Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.

Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.

Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.

Providing technical direction and on-the-job training.

Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.

Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.

Assisting with customers' queries.
Qualifications:

HVAC, HVAC/R skillset desired
-
Universal EPA Certification required.

Ability to work from 6am through 7pm

Good driving record

2+ years work experience preferred.

Minimum 1+ year experience as an HVAC technician, and willingness to continue education in HVAC field.

Ability to read commercial wiring schematics

Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.

Ability to use power tools and hand tools

Ability to work in confined spaces and outside conditions.

Ability to use ladders safely.
