This is a non-remote part-time position. The candidate must live in Las Vegas, NV.
The Beverly Theater is Las Vegas' first independent film house and performance theater. The not-for-profit community, opening this year, will host independent film, music happenings, artistic performances, literary experiences, educational programming and aims to further catalyze creativity and enhance the already burgeoning cultural scene in DTLV.

Under the direction of the theater manager and production coordinator, you will help execute the day-to-day affairs of a film house and live performance operation. This includes customer service, box office operations, POS system transactions, concessions, fan services, maintenance, and more. As part of a small, independent team, you are crucial to keeping theater operations and production on its feet.
Responsibilities:
- Exhibit excellent guest service skills
- Interact enthusiastically with guests while answering questions courteously and accurately in-person or over the phone
- Ability to effectively multitask, including but not limited to greeting guests, tearing and scanning tickets, checking IDs, directing guests and answering guest questions
- Theater ambassador with a willingness to learn new procedures, concepts, software systems, and approaching customer service
- Digitally competent with the ability to operate POS systems for all transactions completed on assigned register, including distributing correct inventory and tickets associated with each sale, properly logging off when away from register, reporting any concerns to management (including unauthorized use of assigned register), etc.
- Voids passes, coupons, and discount tickets after the transaction has finished and processes any refunds when necessary, with the required forms
- Ensures tickets are sold in accordance with the MPAA rating system, studio admittance policy, and company policy
- Uphold "zero tolerance" policy in regard to ID checking
- Distribute, ensure proper working order of, and understand how to operate Assisted Moviegoing Equipment
- Follow load in/load out protocol for various events
- Work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Keeps theater property clean and free from debris (lobby, aisles, restrooms, theater seating, exits, sidewalks, etc.)
- Control access to the theater
- Monitor theater for picture and sound quality, temperature, lighting levels, audience behavior, and film piracy
- Perform daily stocking and maintenance duties
- Follow all health, safety, and other procedures to ensure a safe work environment, as well as the safety of our guests
- Maintain on-time attendance for all scheduled shifts
- Handles food and properly operates cooking, warming, and popping equipment
- Must be able to work efficiently in high volume and stressful, high-pressure situations.
- Must possess excellent communication skills

MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Familiarity with appropriate computer software
- Willingness to work irregular and flexible hours (this is a nights and weekends operation)
- Strong communication and human relations skills
- TAM/alcohol awareness card and Food Handler Safety Card issued from Southern Nevada Health District
- Lift 25 lbs.
- Loves film and live entertainment (required)
