About your role:
McDonald Automotive is looking to add a talented sales manager to our Audi dealership in Parker. After recently opening for full sales, this dealership has grown significantly, and we hope to have a passionate and driven sales manager to grow with us. The Sales Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the retail sales floor. They are responsible for nurturing and cultivating a positive culture and work environment that aligns with the mission and values of the organization. The Sales Manager directs and leads teams to ensure that sales, operational, financial, and customer satisfaction metrics are achieved. They assure customers’ needs are being met and that sales processes are being adhered to.
Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities:
- Work directly with our employees and customers to develop relationships and help to enhance the sales process.
- Build rapport with customers to establish a customer network.
- Provide training and support to the sales staff and assist in closing deals.
- Help manage the productivity of the sales department.
- Facilitate regular sales training for continued team growth.
- Engages in monthly sales forecasting and tracking.
- Assists in the development of advertising campaigns and other promotions.
- Tracks incoming sales leads and keeps abreast of an ongoing business to assist customers in a timely fashion better.
- Understands and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect vehicle sales.
- Conducts sales training meetings.
- Works with salespeople on programs to increase sales and helps close deals when necessary.
- Appraises incoming used vehicles following established standards for appraising trades.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
- Follow scheduled hours as needed, defined by your manager.
Education:
- High school degree or equivalent is required.
- Associates degree in business or a related field is preferred.
Type of Experience Needed to be Successful:
- 5 years of previous automotive sales experience is required.
- 5 years of supervisory experience is preferred.
- 1-year of Dealer System Management experience is preferred.
Specialized Skills:
- Basic MS Office Suite knowledge; computer software/internet proficiency.
- Must maintain a valid state driver’s license to drive any customer or company vehicle.
- Monitors performance of self and others to make improvements or take corrective action.
- Great customer service, organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
- Broad knowledge of all types of vehicles.
Supervisory Expectations:
- The position has immediate oversight of 2 or more team members performing the same or directly related work as those the position leads, which includes interviewing, hiring, training employees, planned work, assigning work, directing work, appraisal and performance, rewarding and disciplining, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
