The Laboratory Technologist is responsible for the performance and reporting of laboratory testing ordered by physicians, including chemistry, bacteriology, serology, hematology and blood bank, in order to supply reliable and accurate information to be used in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions within the profession's standards of practice. Must be a generalist who is able to work in all areas of lab including working directly with patients and performing blood draws.
Part time day position available - shifts could be 8 or 12 hours, weekend and holiday rotation required.
Medical Technologist - Graduate of 4 year Bachelor Degree program and ASCP certification required.
Medical Laboratory Technologist - Graduate of 2 year Associate Degree program required.
CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain within 30 days
