Position: Controller
Location: In Office – Fullerton Location
Work Week: Monday thru Friday, occasional Saturdays
Reports to: President

We are seeking a full-time Controller to work out of our corporate office located in Fullerton.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department o Accounts Payable and Receivable
§ Includes Collections
§ Managing weekly check runs
o Cash Receipts – Checks, ACH, and Merchant
o Billing—both LAB and FIELD
o Payroll - Bi-Weekly (Paylocity)
o Daily Cash Summary with Cash forecasting
o Budgeting
o Month End Closing
o Prepare financial statements both internal and external
o Balance Sheet Reconciliation
o General ledger and Variance Knowledge
o Manage and control large purchases for entire company
o Capital Assets: Vehicles / Equipment / Furniture / Large Maintenance & Repairs / and Improvements
o Bank reconciliation
o Check runs weekly
o Provide recommendations to improve efficiencies and cost savings efficiencies
o Improve systems and procedures with updated SOP’s
o Initiate corrective actions within the department
o Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance, accuracy, and proper handling
o Meet financial accounting objectives
o Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
o Report financials to CPA office
o Other Managerial duties as assigned by the President
o Manage larger contracts and RFP needs
o Assist president with company financial decisions and implementation
Expectations:
o All items above successfully executed daily
o Track daily activity and results
o High level of problem solving and negotiation ability o Understanding and maintaining GAAP Compliant
o Assess and improve accounting procedures
o Manage regulatory reporting
o Yearly review for future budgeting, forecasting and any needed revisions to better the company’s financial goals
Required Knowledge skills and abilities:
o Competent in Microsoft Office – Outlook/Word Excel and PowerPoint
o Knowledge of Sage 50
o Exceptional Written and Verbal Communication Skills
o High level of strategic thinking
o Highly organized
o Proven success in all areas of accounting with examples given
o Proven ability to manage, empower and train department employees

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong understanding of GAAP and regulatory reporting
- Prior experience in corporate accounting or financial management
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
