Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the direction of the kitchen supervisor or chef.
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistent quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Assist with receiving and storing food supplies and ingredients.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns.
Skills:
- Previous experience in food service or culinary roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively work with team members and communicate with customers.
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper hygiene practices.
- Customer service-oriented mindset to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in food preparation and presentation.
