About Revby:
Revby is a small business consulting firm.
Our mission is to support our small business owners on their journey to serve communities, strengthen presence, and secure livelihoods. We do this through our business and marketing consulting with small business owners and through our technical assistance and research services for economic development organizations that share a mission in small business development, particularly for businesses owned by minority, women, immigrant, LGBTQ, and other disadvantaged communities.
Our projects reflect a diverse set of work scopes for our small business owner clients. They include business planning, strategy, financial analysis, sales & marketing planning, branding, operations, bookkeeping, hiring strategy / people management, technology, and software (POS systems, CRM systems, project management, etc.) implementation, and website development / eCommerce development. Our work has a particular emphasis on community-based small businesses and minority-owned, women-owned, and immigrant-owned businesses.
About the Role:
We have an opening for an employee to join our growing team of small business consultants. First and foremost, we are looking for someone who has interest in being part of a social impact startup consulting business and is motivated by solving problems for people who need help. This Consultant role will contribute a strong financial analysis, and business strategy subject matter expertise to our existing team of consultants.
Primary responsibilities: provide business coaching to small business clients; serve as a lead or co-lead on client consulting projects. As a senior consultant, you will be asked to jump in on projects with other consultants to offer a second perspective. The role of Small Business Consultant is often to serve as a generalist across core business administration, marketing, and management elements in addition to contributing a specialization in our consulting engagements.
As Revby is a small business as well, there are opportunities for each Revby employee to contribute to the growth strategy and business development of the company.
