Job Overview:
We are seeking an Audit Associate to join our team. As an Audit Associate, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, and completion of financial audits. You will work closely with clients to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and provide valuable insights to improve financial processes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of financial audits
- Conduct risk assessments and identify areas for improvement
- Perform testing of internal controls and document findings
- Analyze financial statements and identify discrepancies or irregularities
- Prepare audit reports and communicate findings to clients
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements
- Stay up-to-date with accounting standards and regulations
- Provide recommendations for process improvements and risk management
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial concepts
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
- Experience in public accounting or audit firm is preferred
- Familiarity with technical accounting standards (GAAP)
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
