Motor City Racks is seeking an experienced sales representative with expertise in metal fabrication across the aerospace, agriculture, construction, and warehouse automation industry. As our Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and managing new and existing customer relationships within these sectors. This includes identifying potential customers, generating leads, and closing sales of our racking and fabrication solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of these industries and be able to effectively communicate our solutions to potential customers.
SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
- Identify new business opportunities and generate leads within the aerospace, agriculture, construction and warehouse automation sectors
- Develop and manage relationships with key decision makers in the aerospace, agriculture, construction and warehouse automation industries
- Understand and communicate the unique features and benefits of our racking and fabrication solution
- Meet and exceed sales targets and quotas
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products and services
- Attend industry events and conferences to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Understand and communicate the unique features and benefits of our racking and fabrication solution
- Meet and exceed sales targets and quotas
- Well-connected in the aerospace, agriculture, construction and warehouse automation sectors
- Good blueprint reading skills and working knowledge of e-Drawings preferred
- Understanding of costing techniques.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to prepare and deliver documents and presentations.
- Ability to interact professionally with Customers at all levels.
- Able to work effectively with all departments and associates at all levels of the organization.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE, ABILITIES REQUIRES:
- 5+ years of experience in metal fabrication or engineering design and project management
- Ability to read or use CAD programs such as: SolidWorks, CATIA, Siemens NX, Fusion 360
- Ability to travel at times
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
