Overview:
The REACH Lab (Research on Ethics, Aging, and Community Health) is dedicated to mitigating health disparities and improving healthcare decision-making. REACH Lab incorporates multidisciplinary approaches to better understand the social mechanisms underlying health disparities, with the goals of improving patient-centered decision-making at the individual level, and informing health policies at the population level. Our research partners include patients, families, clinicians, community-members, patient advocates, community organizations, health care centers, academics, and policy makers.
What You'll Do:
Under close supervision of Principal Investigator, the research coordinator will support, facilitate, and coordinate daily research activities. The research coordinator will be responsible for the below:

Managing IRB documentation

Creating recruitment materials

Recruiting participants

Administering surveys, interviews, and focus groups

Facilitating use of decision aids

Managing and analyzing data
-
May train and supervise undergraduate students, participate in research design, and prepare results for publication and dissemination
What We're Looking For:
Basic Requirements:

Knowledge and skills as typically acquired by a Bachelor's degree with relevant research experience
Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with facilitating qualitative assessments

Experience with data analysis software (e.g. SPSS)
Special Work Schedule Requirements:
This role involves travel within the Boston metro area on a weekly basis to interact with study participants and collaborators.
