Inventory Tracker responsibilities include:
- Maintain accurate, updated bulk wine records, and ensure compliance with state, TTB federal regulations, Goose Ridge policies for winery operations, wine additives, distilled spirits, wines, exports, finished goods.
- Process all bulk wine work orders in wine tracking software (Vintrace).
- Ensure Wine label compliance and blend compositions follow federal and state regulations.
- Operate Truck scales as needed
- Aid in recording results of daily chemical analysis into Vintrace.
- During harvest, inputs scale tags for grapes received into Vintrace
- Organizes paperwork for daily shipping and receiving from the facility
- Processes incoming bulk wine shipments & prepares bills of lading for outgoing bulk shipments.
- Prepares monthly inventory reports for wine, spirits, cider and dry goods.
- Tracks dry goods and materials of production inventory in Vintrace.
- Maintains barrel inventory including purchases and deletions.
- Conducts complex reconciliation in multiple areas.
- Organizes and files large volumes of paperwork.
- Organize and maintain accurate records and perform accurate data entry.
- Compose and communicate reports to multiple departments.
- Support winemaking activities by providing records and reports, as needed
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred.
- Basic accounting and proven math skills involving but not limited to percentages, ratios, and conversion between metric and imperial.
- Must be 21 years or older (Alcohol).
- A history of responsible alcohol use and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.
- Proficient in: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Good computation skills with accuracy and legibility of records required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of principles of inventory management.
- Demonstrated experience with computers and data entry.
Requirements:
- Lift, push, or pull a minimum of 50 pounds weight
- Requires ability to walk, stand and sit, sometimes for prolonged periods of time.
- Requires sufficient good health to properly discharge duties.
The applicant must be flexible, professional, highly motivated, and able to manage multiple responsibilities and complete tasks efficiently with a high degree of accuracy.
This is a paid, full-time, hourly position working 8 hour shifts Monday through Friday. Working Saturdays, Sundays and/or evenings may be required during harvest. Wage will be determined based on level of qualifications and experience.
