Job Summary:
Coordinates overall daily activities of the employee health services. Provides nursing care and health education for employees who become injured at work. Coordinates facility-wide immunizations, inoculations and health screenings for pre-employment and on an annual basis to employees. Develops and manages employee occupational health services.

Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure: Required
Essential Functions:
- Acts as liaison for employee assistance programs, referring employees to counselors as appropriate. Evaluates the work environment and follows through on health related environmental concerns with appropriate department leadership or administration. Promotes health maintenance and prevention of illness and injury at work. Establishes and develops working relationships with outside providers.
- Completes all pre-placement health evaluations and annual health screens and processes in a timely manner. Maintains complete records of all employees. Preserves confidentiality of records.
- Maintains communication with corporate leadership on all compensation cases. Evaluates all employee reports of injury with timely processing. Investigates organization accidents, and maintains statistics of injuries and observes outcomes. Assists with temporary work programs.
- Maintains knowledge of current trends of employee health, changes in legal issues, and nursing serviced policies and procedures, communicates this information to management as appropriate. Develops quality improvement and proposes new and revised employee health policies and procedures as needed.
- Writes and submits annual budget for employees health services. Communicates with leadership regarding budget.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
