Position Summary:
As our Customer Advocate, you play a pivotal role in resolving escalated customer issues related to damaged or returned products, guiding them through the claims process with your can-do attitude. Reporting to the Director of Purchasing, you will be a key player in delivering exceptional service.
Position Responsibility:
- Be the face of exceptional customer service, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
- Effectively mediate and resolve customer conflicts and disputes, utilizing active listening, empathy, and problem-solving skills to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Seamlessly coordinate live customer issues post-delivery and/or installation of new products.
- Collaborate with manufacturers for potential product exchanges following service referrals.
- Process damage allowance requests with precision.
- Manage replacement cosmetic requests and keep customers informed on back-ordered parts.
- Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail in all tasks, ensuring accuracy, precision and consistency in data entry, documentation and project execution to uphold quality standards and minimize errors.
Position requirements:
- Customer service experience, including conflict resolution.
- Microsoft Office (365, Word, Excel etc.)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Operate with a strong sense of time, organization, and urgency.
- Be self-motivated and driven to achieve goals and metrics.
- Embrace a willingness to learn industry-specific software systems.
