Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel engines and vehicles. This is a hands-on position that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with power tools. Experience with specifically Ford vehicles is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and other mechanical systems
- Conduct brake repairs and replacements
- Align wheels and perform tire services
- Assemble and disassemble parts of diesel engines and vehicles
- Use power tools and other equipment to complete repairs
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines and vehicles
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Proficiency in using power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Customer service-oriented mindset
