We are seeking a motivated and experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our team at our Building Materials location in Moline, IL. The ideal candidate will have experience in selling HDPE pipe, accessories, and fusion rental equipment, with a proven sales track record.
Outside Sales Representative Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Identify new sales opportunities in the HDPE pipe, accessories, and fusion rental markets
- Build and maintain solid relationships with existing customers
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customers’ needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Educate customers on our products, services, and industry trends
- Prepare sales proposals, presentations, and execute purchase orders
- Ensure orders are fulfilled and customers are satisfied
- Collaborate with internal team, project managers, and vendors to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of products and services
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to stay up to date on trends and competitors
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of sales activities in the company customer relationship management (CRM) system
Outside Sales Representative Qualifications:
- A strong understanding of HDPE pipe, accessories, and fusion equipment, with a willingness to continually educate yourself
- Strong focus on customer relationships and excellent service with a commitment to a high level of integrity
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and goals
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and resolution skills
- Goal-oriented mindset and ability to work without direct supervision
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
