ESI is now hiring a Customer Service Representative in the Palm City, FL area.
POSITION SUMMARY:
ESI is seeking a Customer Service Representative who is responsible for assisting customers with inquiries, policy changes, claims processing, and general account maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 440 CSR License is preferred, or willingness to obtain
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the insurance industry or a related field
- Knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance products, terminology, and processes is preferred
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language fluently.
- Ability to walk, stand, stoop, bend, push a cart, or lift during the entire shift
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, including small packages and supplies
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Customer Support: Handles inbound calls, emails, and other communications from policyholders promptly and professionally.
- Policy Inquiries: Assists customers with questions regarding their insurance policies, coverage details, premiums, and billing inquiries.
- Policy Changes: Processes policy changes, updates, and endorsements accurately and efficiently.
- Claims Assistance: Guides customers through the claims process, gathers necessary information, and provides updates on claim statuses.
- Account Maintenance: Updates customer information, processes payments, and performs other account maintenance tasks with attention to detail.
- Issue Resolution: Investigates and resolves customer complaints or issues in a timely and effective manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Cross-Selling and Up-Selling: Identifies opportunities to recommend additional insurance products or coverage options to customers based on their needs.
- Compliance: Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies in all customer interactions and transactions.
- Documentation: Maintains accurate and detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, and inquiries in the company's CRM system.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborates with other departments such as underwriting, claims, and sales to address customer needs and provide seamless service.
- Any other duties as assigned.
