Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and organized Maintenance Manager to join our team in providing exceptional care and support to our residents and staff. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to creating a positive environment, with a strong focus on patient-centered safety and comfort. The Maintenance Manager will work closely with the Operations Director to oversee the daily operations of the facility, ensuring that the property and its facilities will be in the best working order as possible. This role requires a high level of energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to delivering outstanding facility upkeep,
Duties:
- Provide support to the Operations Director in managing the day-to-day operations of the facility
- Ensure that all residents and staff receive excellent and timely service of their equipment and furniture in their rooms, and throughout the building.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents and staff.
- Oversee and manage the maintenance area, equipment and machinery, and keep track of subordinates, ensuring that all maintenance and building services are delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of equipment, consumable products, warranties and inventory.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve the overall function of the Maintenance Department.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in property management and maintenance, or within the construction industry for 5 or more years.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
- High level of energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to delivering outstanding mechanical, building and remodeling services.
