What This Position is All About
Under direction from the Operations Manager, the Door Guard is responsible for providing high quality customer service, establishing and helping to maintain customer relationships and working effectively with other team members within the café and the store.
Who You Are:
Aside from opening and closing doors, the Door Guard also participates in implementing security protocols, checking identification, looking out for suspicious behaviors, and patrolling areas while coordinating with the security staff.
You Also Have:
- Proven security experience in retail and/or other industries

Ability to work in a team

Possession of strong technical background in specialty skills such as communication and multitasking

Hands-on experience in cashier duties

Responsible and trustworthy

Openness to learning and developing new skills and processes

High School graduate or equivalent preferred
As The Door Guard, You Will:
- Ensure proper personnel are using proper entrances/exits.

Become an asset in case of an accident.

Monitor certain areas.

Invite guests and open doors.

Ad hoc responsibilities as needed

Salary and Other Compensation:
The starting hourly rate for this position is between [$17.05-21.32 per hour]. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include market, skills, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
