Job Summary:
Join our team as a Junior Attorney where you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic legal environment. We are seeking a motivated individual with a strong interest in landlord/ tenant-related matters of evictions and participating in the litigation.
Duties:
- Conduct legal research on various topics including securities law, workers compensation law, family law, environmental law, and tribal law regulations.
- Assist in preparing legal documents, briefs, and memos for court proceedings.
- Support senior attorneys in litigation cases by drafting pleadings and motions.
- Participate in client meetings and assist in case preparation.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the organization.
- Perform administrative tasks related to legal matters including maintaining case files and documentation.
- Utilize legal databases such as Lexis-Nexis for research purposes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law or related field; JD preferred.
- Knowledge of securities law, workers compensation law, family law, environmental law, and tribal law regulations.
- Experience or coursework in legal research and writing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Previous experience with litigation is a plus.
Additional Skills (Nice-to-Have):
- Familiarity with legal administrative tasks.
- Proficiency in using Lexis-Nexis for legal research.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
