Compensation: $150,000 - $250,000+ depending on experience + bonus
Compensation:
$150,000 - $250,000 plus bonus dependent on experience
Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies and plans for client employment and HR matters from start to finish.
- Manage responses to demand letters, labor board disputes, and internal compliance audits.
- Direct and oversee the work of other staff to ensure deadlines are met.
- Maintain a focus on staying informed about current and upcoming laws.
- Provide training and education to staff and clients.
- Offer advice and guidance to small business owners.
- Create educational resources for small business owners.
- Execute projects within specified timelines.
- Handle demand letters and negotiate settlements effectively.
- Address government agency complaints and audits promptly.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience providing guidance to California Employers regarding California employment and labor laws is required.
- Demonstrated commitment to advocating for small businesses is essential.
- At least 5 years of customer service experience is mandatory.
- Preferably, at least 1 year of experience working in a remote/virtual setting.
- Preferably, at least 1 year of experience in supervising staff.
- Previous experience working in a technology-dependent business environment is necessary.
