Primary Responsibilities:
Oversee all warehouse operations at the Norcross corporate location.
Maintain constant communication with all departments.
Ensure products are picked, packed, and delivered on time.
Supervise and manage all personnel, including new hiring and training.
Set the standards that provide for a positive, safe, and exciting warehouse environment.
Manage through clear, direct, and respectful two-way communications with customers.
Lead by positive example, fostering team environment, positive staff interaction and high morale.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
Lead, motivate, and support a team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including career development plans for all direct reports and problem resolution.
Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce costs, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service.
Work closely with Director of Operations to make sure activities remain compliant.
Work directly with materials and inventory management to ensure products are stocked, located, and managed efficiently.
Maintain an orderly, clean, and safe branch, ensure all equipment and workplace is in clean and good working condition and adequate supply levels maintained.
Conduct timely staff meetings to discuss goals, accomplishments, and new initiatives.
Manage paperwork and reporting in a timely and accurate fashion.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, systems, and applicable laws.
Ensure employee awareness of safety and emergency procedures.
Maintain assigned cycle counts throughout the year by working directly with the Inventory Manager.
Leadership Responsibilities:
Assign responsibility, resources, and authority to achieve end results that support company goals and hold staff accountable for the results.
Participate in direct one on one performance feedback with staff as necessary, implement employee performance evaluations and improvement plans.
Provide a positive working environment and handle employee issues appropriately and in a timely manner.
Develop and maintain a system of staff feedback designed to facilitate communication within and among departments and facilitate the flow of information among staff.
Skills and Qualifications:
Hands-on demeanor, willing to engage in daily tasks to demonstrate and model the behavior needed within the team.
2+ years’ proven experience in a warehouse management position
Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of branch operations and customer service
Highly trained in conflict management
Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to learn
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of warehouse management software programs, including Acumatica.
Bilingual communication skills (Spanish preferred)

Pay: $51,354.39 - $65,000.00 per year
