We are seeking a qualified Oncology Nurse Supervisor to join our dedicated team at the Dover location of our respected hematology and oncology practice. This leadership role is crucial in overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of oncology care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of oncology nurses, ensuring that they adhere to established standards of patient care.
- Oversee the scheduling, assignments, and daily workflow of the nursing staff.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of patient care delivery.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to ensure team proficiency in new treatment protocols and technologies.
- Manage patient care, including direct involvement in complex oncology cases.
- Serve as a liaison between the nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and patient care.
- Evaluate staff performance, provide feedback and facilitate professional development opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license with a specialization in Oncology Nursing preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 3 years in an oncology setting.
- Proven management or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively coordinating with both medical professionals and patients.
- Commitment to staying informed on the latest hematology and oncology nursing practices and technologies.
