Responsibilities
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create clear and concise technical documentation, including user manuals, product guides, and instructional materials.
- Support Services Team on creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Method of Procedures (MOP) documents for in-field service work.
- Regularly update and revise existing technical documents to reflect product changes, improvements, or updates.
- Maintain version control and ensure all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with industry standards.
- Work closely with engineering teams to understand and interpret CAD models and technical specifications.
- Incorporate designs into documentation, ensuring accuracy and alignment with product specifications.
- Create product assembly animations and photorealistic renderings
- Assist production and operations team on product launches and coordinate marketing efforts to ensure successful market entry.
- Provide production and operations sales teams with product assembly knowledge and training to achieve output metrics.
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
- Familiarity with industry standards and documentation best practices.
- Proficiency in Paligo Component Content Management System.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD, Composer, PhotoView360, and Visualize.
- Flexibility to work extended hours and across time zones.
This job requires a blend of technical writing expertise, visual communication skills, and software proficiency. Candidates with a background in engineering or manufacturing are preferred, along with experience in Adobe Suite and SOLIDWORKS CAD software.
