About the role:
The Operations Specialist role is comprised of mainly the following tasks: (Lawyer language - but it is not limited to the tasks below. This is just a current description. Tasks may change as business requirements change.)
80% of the time you will be supporting the Operations Manager around the warehouse. Your support will be:
Inventory Management
- Physical inventory management/organization of inventory/audits
- Internal spreadsheets for accessories
- Trident POS and Fastbound Compliance checks
Shipping/Receiving
- Receive packages from vendors and customers, log them in the POS and compliance systems as required
- Preparing outbound packages to ship including packing orders, printing labels, taking measurements and dropping off at UPS (1 mile from the warehouse)
General/Office Tasks
- Warehouse Cleaning - Sweeping, moving the dumpster in and out of the bay, vacuuming the showroom area
- Warehouse Organization - Keeping the shipping station in order, organizing apparel and marketing materials, marking customer builds and tagging warranty items
- Running general errands - Dropping off bank deposits (within 1 mile of the warehouse), picking up mail or dropping off packages, running errands to Home Depot and similar to restocking supplies
20% of the time you will be involved in helping set up internal events and honestly, some miscellaneous duties as they arise.
- Event setup would be for photoshoots, this may include calling venues to get pricing, coordinating schedules, assisting on the day of the photoshoot as a safety officer or camera assistant

We are a small business and everyone takes on tasks as required but this list is about as comprehensive as we can get. This role is a new role and is not replacing a previous employee so it may be fluid as we settle into having the extra hands around. This is a role that is intended grow with the company as we expand.
We do handle a large amount of business internationally and this role may include travel internationally for 7-10 days at a time, 2-3 times a year. These trips are completely company paid (flights, hotel, food, etc). Hotel rooms are always separate and you will not share with anyone else. Domestic travel outside of DFW area is not expected at this time.
Wimberley has a culture of fun and independence. You will not be micromanaged and will be expected to handle tasks assigned or reach out for help when needed. Office staff and executive management are easily accessible at all hours. Communication, reliability and passion for growth are the three keys to success in the role.

Our work environment includes:
- Flexible work-from-home days - We typically require someone in the office every day but based on tasks at the office, you may be able to complete them entirely from home. All our software is cloud based.
- Flexible working hours - We typically start work at 8-9am and end around 5-6pm. You have some flexibility in these hours. It is rare but sometimes our days will start in the afternoon (2pm or so) and extend to late night (10pm or so) this is very rare and will be communicated well in advance (2+ weeks) when required.
- Safe work environment - We have strict safety rules at our office/warehouse, events and ranges.
- On-the-job training - We don't plan on you coming onboard with every skill and every bit of knowledge and are happy to train where needed. You just have to be willing to learn.
- Casual work attire - Jeans and a branded t-shirt most days. Some events may have different dress codes but attendance to those is normally not required.
