We are currently looking for a qualified on-site Level One IT Technician that will install, support, troubleshoot and maintain a variety of computer and network devices to guarantee the optimal use of technology in business.
A successful on-site IT Technician must travel to location and provide support to users when remote assistance cannot provide a solution.
We will do training, when necessary, we don’t expect any candidate to know everything about our equipment, our applications or our IT infrastructure and environment.
An extremely good technical and hands on interview will reduce experience required by 1 year.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and organizational and time management skills. Natural intuitive abilities.
- 2+ year of relevant work experience, supporting a business environment with IT Support including network support.
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (installation, use, support, and troubleshooting).
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace (installation, use, support, and troubleshooting).
- 2+ years of experience with Computer hardware and its peripherals (Printers, routers, Keyboards, etc..) including assembly, disassembly, and diagnostics.
- 2+ years of experience with Network environments, knowledge of routers, switches, gateways, wireless access points (installation, use, support, and troubleshooting)
- Optional: 1+ year of experience with Apple Mac Operating Systems and its related hardware and software.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote assistance and/or on-site assistance to end users in need of the IT department while engaging in excellent customer service across the organization, ensuring resolution is timely and accurate according to priority assigned, including but not limited to provide support on Windows & macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office & Microsoft 365 apps, Google Workspace apps, desktop computers, tablets, printers and copiers, wired and wireless networks devices, miscellaneous IT tool, mobile and wireless devices and peripherals.
- Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and hardware tools.
- Resolve, monitor, record, document, and escalate all support tickets and emails assigned.
- Works closely with other departments to ensure a timely and efficient resolution to incidents.
- Maintain hardware inventory, control lifecycle of hardware and software assets, and perform asset repurpose or disposal.
- Install, support, maintain and troubleshoot IT devices and infrastructure as needed.
- Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems and end users.
- Must be willing to travel to dealerships locations
